Snakes and Lizards on Sunday

The parents of one of Adam's mates told us of The Snakeman who puts on a show at La Perouse on Botany Bay every Sunday so we decided to check it out.


The Cann family has been putting on reptile shows here for the last 80 years.

This guy kept staring at Adam. Must have liked his orange shirt!






Bare Island was a hit with the kids - rocks to climb, fish to poke at, starfish to save, and fellow Canadians to chat with!

We went to the Fomin's on Friday for dinner. Nick and Mara cooked up a feast including some kangaroo! Not sure if any other country eats their national animal - one that's even in their coat of arms!

City to Surf encore

No, we didn't run the City to Surf again. Once in a lifetime is enough. We just got the pictures from the disposible camera developed!
