Bronte Beach to Bondi Beach Walk

The skys were beautiful blue today and we had an urge to see the ocean so we went for a long walk along the ocean from Bronte to Bondi.

We enjoyed the Walk along the top of the cliffs while watching the surf crash into the rocks.

Of course walking isn't good enough for the kids - I swear they're part monkey!

We all enjoy the rock formations in the sandstone.

A view of Bondi beach before stopping for lunch at this beachfront cafe at Tamarama beach.

Adam and Dave braved the water! The wimps in the background had wetsuits. We haven't been swimming at the Sydney beaches in quite some time because we thought it would be too cold - we were wrong! Adam and Dave played in the surf for 15-20 minutes.

The Australian beach culture is like no other one we've seen!

Great photos Dave. You're right though, there are some beautiful beaches back in Australia... after visiting a few US beaches we are starting to see just how good the Aussies beaches are.

I'm interested in your comment about how Aussie beach culture is like no other you've seen... I'd be interested to hear more on why you think that.

Cheers mate!
Chris

There's just so much activity going on - surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, volleyball, walking, jogging, kite surfing, hang gliding, lifeboat training, sunbathing, Little Nippers, BBQing,... I could go on but you get my drift. All these activities going on all at once with no one getting in anyone elses way - Aussies love the beach and know how to enjoy it!
